This beautiful empire sofa is part of a collection of a collector of Thomas Day furniture. I cannot say that this piece is definately Thomas Day. However, there are some things that could signify his work. They are the intererior curves under the arm (Looking at the end of the sofa) and the fact that the feet in the back are the same as the front feet. Most basic Empire style sofas do not have the curve treatment under the arms and the back feet are plain blocks.
